Being based near to a city centre, Woolston Lodge found that its 45-space car park was regularly full even when the surgery was closed. As an NHS healthcare provider, it was imperative that they could offer convenient and accessible parking, so that patients could park with ease and arrive promptly for their appointments.
How we solved it
Maximum stay measures introduced
The surgery outlined their problem and our parking consultants proposed a solution powered by our intelligent ANPR management system. A maximum free stay period of 90 minutes was introduced and this has helped to noticeably cut-down on nuisance parking. Surgery staff have been issued with permits which allowed them to park while they are working.
